Hi! My name is Meredith Hammond. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist–Supervisor in Colorado and Nebraska. In addition to my Master’s degree in Counseling, I hold a post-graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), a Synergetic Play Therapist Supervisor, and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I currently serve as a Board Member for the Colorado Association for Play Therapy (CAPT), where I enjoy supporting education, connection, and advocacy for the play therapy community.

I believe that therapy begins with a positive and genuine working relationship between the client and therapist. Because we are relational by nature, our patterns of interaction with others deeply shape our experiences of happiness, connection, pain, and disappointment. My goal is to help clients strengthen their most important relationships—including their relationship with themselves.​Using specialized approaches, I tailor creative interventions to each client’s unique needs, interests, and strengths. My work integrates trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and relational frameworks to promote motivation, self-understanding, and growth.

When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me with my husband and our three active boys exploring the beautiful sights of Colorado. I love music, home projects, hiking, dancing, and finding ways to play even in seemingly ordinary moments. Life is meant to be enjoyed!
