Welcome!
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected? Is it time to make a change?
Has a negative past experience impacted your ability to engage in daily life or achieve your full potential? Regardless of the particular issue, participation in therapy can help you gain insight, support, and new strategies for managing life’s challenges and transitions. Many of my clients have discovered that once they have learned the appropriate coping skills for their situation, they are better able to bounce back from difficult circumstances with increased determination, vitality, and confidence.

About Meredith
Hi! My name is Meredith Hammond. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor in Colorado. In addition to my Master's degree in Counseling, I also hold a post-graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and a Synergetic Play Therapist Supervisor.

I believe that therapy requires a positive working relationship between the client and therapist. Because we are relational by nature, our patterns of interaction with others contribute to our experiences of happiness and our experiences of pain and disappointment. My goal is to help my clients strengthen their most important relationships - including their relationship with themselves. Using specialized techniques such as EMDR, Brainspotting, AF-CBT, and Play Therapy, I help my clients implement creative techniques specifically tailored to their needs, interests, and strengths to help promote motivation, personal connection, and growth.
When I am not working, I am usually with my husband and three active boys enjoying the beautiful sites of Colorado. I love music, woodworking, building with legos, visiting random roadside attractions, and finding ways to play in seemingly boring situations. Life is meant to be enjoyed!
